Stormentum Announces Testing Agreement with E.ON to Validate Its Modular Inverter Platform for European and North American markets

June 1, 2026

E.ON Innovation Co-Investments will test Stormentum’s modular inverter system at E.ON’s facility in Essen, Germany — the company’s first international validation engagement.

AUSTIN, TX — June 1, 2026 — Stormentum, a next-generation energy systems company, today announced a testing and validation agreement with E.ON Innovation Co-Investments Inc. Signed in May 2026, the agreement provides Stormentum access to E.ON’s testing facility in Essen, Germany to conduct independent technical evaluation of its modular inverter system — marking Stormentum’s first international validation engagement.

“Gaining access to a world-class testing facility operated by one of Europe’s leading energy companies is a significant milestone,” said George Holmes, Chairman and CEO of Stormentum. “Independent validation by major energy infrastructure operators is a critical step in demonstrating the commercial readiness of our platform — and a strong signal that the largest players in global energy are paying attention to what a fundamentally different power conversion architecture can deliver.”

Under the agreement, Stormentum’s engineering team will operate within E.ON’s Essen facility through December 31, 2026, testing its hardware and software platform with both parties contributing technical expertise to the evaluation.

Stormentum’s patented MMC architecture replaces multiple purpose-built power electronics systems with a single software-defined platform that scales from residential solar and storage into microgrids, EV infrastructure, AI data centers, and utility applications. The E.ON engagement will inform further refinement of the platform for grid-connected and utility-adjacent deployments.
